Unemployment is a serious issue in many developing countries. On average, unemployment rates among youth in developing countries are estimated at 64 percent. Many developing countries are currently experiencing large population growth, which adds immediate urgency to job creations in these countries. Under the right circumstances, due to its proven strong impact on job creation, entrepreneurship can be the key to cope with this issue. Our Mission is to mitigate the problems presented by poverty by using entrepreneurship as an instrument.
We aim, in the first place, to bring world-class entrepreneurship training, mentorship and business assistance to disadvantaged communities in the developing areas of Cape Town. In the second place, we aim to give students/recent graduates the chance to develop their knowledge, skills, and confidence either by joining one of our projects or, to a further extent, by fulfilling a position as a board member of our organization after completion of the program in Cape Town.
