WHAT WE DO
Knowledge 2 Share brings together carefully selected volunteers with entrepreneurs in developing areas to share their knowledge. For students/recent graduates our program is a great way to gain hands-on experience with the start-up world of a developing country. Not only do ambassadors of our organization get the chance to broaden and share their knowledge about entrepreneurship, they also get the chance to be involved with business development in practice. Additionally, they have the opportunity to take a deep dive into a South African culture by working with a diverse range of NGOs and living with a South African host family. Our organization was founded in 2013 and provides training programs since the summer of 2016. The NGOs we work with have expressed that the Knowledge 2 Share training program is a great addition to the programs they offer to their community.
CAREFULLY SELECTED VOLUNTEERS
We select motivated candidates, eager to make an impact. These candidates can be either students or recent graduates with diverse backgrounds and a keen interest in entrepreneurship.
Candidates are trained by former ambassadors during a "Training Day". This way, ambassadors are prepared to perform optimally during the project.
Our material is based on the building blocks of the Business Model Canvas. The final product of our training program consists of a pitch, by which we stimulate the entrepreneurs to create a sharp overview of what they want with their business and how to get there.
We structurally support entrepreneurs in growing and developing their ideas. We aim to stay in touch with our candidates after completion of the training program to built strong relationships with the entrepreneurs who engage in our program.
